OVERVIEW
The Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit helps reduce engine bay heat and pressure.
During the design process; we wanted to utilize the OEM hood. This resulted in a product that retains the hood’s structural rigidity and ensures the hood retains its shape after years of use.
This hood louver kit is for the Z33 350Z owner looking for a purposely placed, built, and tested louver kit that weighs less than most carbon vent hoods.

SCIENCE
Utilizing CFD, we were able to place the louver in a low-pressure location on the hood, increasing the effectiveness of the louvers. Using scan data during the design phase, we were able to create a louver that follows OEM body lines while reducing the amount of structural material removed. This ensures the hood’s structural rigidity is maintained while the louvers look to be part of the hood’s overall design.
Underhood temperature is an issue with Z’s and our hood louvers greatly decrease these temperatures by evacuating the hot air in the engine bay and pulling in cooler air from the radiator/grill area. This improves cooling stack efficiency by increasing the pressure delta between pre and post cooling stack. Another benefit of the louvers is a reduction in front end lift by reducing the underhood pressure. This is also known as downforce!

Verus Engineering ships via FedEx and USPS, both domestically and internationally. Estimated delivery times for domestic FedEx shipments are explained in above image.
TRACKING
Verus Engineering sends an email with tracking number for every order placed with a valid email address. Tracking is sent *to the email used during checkout* directly via the carriers. Please check your spam folders and/or your email specifically used during checkout.
ADDRESS CHANGE POLICY
If an address needs to be changed or updated, there will be a minimum charge of $10. This takes Verus time and resources to make the appropriate changes. We cannot guarentee that the address change will take place correctly but will do our best to facilitate it.
WARRANTY
Due to the nature of our business and the use of our parts, all of our products have a 1-year limited manufacturer defects warranty. If you have any questions regarding a warranty issue please do not hesitate to give us a call or shoot us a quick email.
